Here at the National Maritime Museum we've received an enquiry about a
dugout canoe, which has letters carved in to the sides. I'm not a language
specialist and I can't identify what language this might be. My colleague Simon
Stephens who specializes in ship design thinks that this is probably a South
Asian canoe.
Can anyone help identify the language? Any insights gratefully received!
